Position Summary

Signature Theatre is looking for a WARDROBE SUPERVISOR for its upcoming production of BAD KREYOL by resident playwright Dominique Morisseau, directed by Tiffany Nichole Greene. This position reports to the Costume Shop Manager. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities

  • Candidates should have excellent communication and organizational skills and be and should be able to work independently.
  • Overseeing the daily maintenance of costumes, including laundry, dry cleaning, repairs, and steaming/pressing costumes before the show.
  • Ensuring proper labeling, hanging, and storage of costumes.
  • Dress actors or facilitate quick changes for any actor as needed.
  • Manage the necessary wardrobe supplies for the show and make purchases as needed.
  • Maintain all show paperwork and update any changes that arise from the tech or preview process. Create paperwork as needed.
  • Performing preset, show run, and post-show duties and strike after completed run.
  • Dates: October 1st – December 1st, 2024 with possible extension to December 15th, 2024.

Compensation

$31/hour. Overtime eligible over 40 hrs. Overtime hourly rate is $46.50
